The core of the application is based on data retrieval in transparent and automatic mode on machines and various control points within the production process. The data are stored in a database with a view to making further relevant information in the following areas:
– Control of Production:
– Pace of production
– Incidents/events of machines (time and cause of the stoppages)
– Idle time
– Machine consumption
– Periodical yields (machinery, materials and operatives)
– Comparison of methods for manufacturing (improving methods)
– Maintenance:
– Planning preventive maintenance based on the number of machine hours or work cycles
– Generating orders intervention (via e-mail, SMS, etc.) based on the maturity of preventive actions
– Reports of availability and maintainability (change tooling), and so on
– Reliability reports of machinery
– Quality control:
– Automatic inspecctions and discrimination (via machine vision)
– The number of rejections in each control point
– Trends
– Process Variability on the parameters measured
– Notices and alarms in serious quality failure (out of control)
– Traceability:
– On process (recording continuously operational parameters)
– On product (identifying origin lot, unit or other potential aggregations)
– Data from the product that enters to the production line incorporates as an additional operating parameter to register. Readers are used by radio frequency (RFID) and scanners (bars, points, relief, etc.) |
